Penguin Drive & Scenic Drive – Itinerary
Start Point:
Rola Jeep Somerset West at 08:00 AM. Departure time 08:30.
Route Overview:
Depart from Rola Jeep, heading over Sir Lowry’s Pass for beautiful mountain views.
Take a left on the old road just after Houwhoek Hotel and exit at Botriver.
Scenic Stop:
Rotary Way lookout point – We’ll stop for a 20-minute break to enjoy the panoramic views over Hermanus and the surrounding coastline.
Next Destination:
Betties Bay – Here, we’ll visit the penguin colony for a chance to see these charming birds up close.
Lunch Break:
After spending time with the penguins, we’ll relax and enjoy lunch in Betties Bay. Lunch will be at your own expense.
Return Journey:
Head back to Cape Town via the scenic Highlands Drive, making this a day filled with stunning landscapes and memorable moments.
